Leaders
We believe that the biblical pattern for church leadership is for elders to oversee the church along with regular input from a men & women who are gifted by Christ to help equip the church. These gifts are listed in Ephesians 4 as apostles, prophets, evangelists, pastors and teachers. Leaders and ministries in the church exist to equip and release the gifts and abilities in every member so the work is done by all.
 Matthew & Ruth Ling. City Church traces its roots back to meetings in Matthew & Ruth’s house in 2003. As well as being an elder in the church, Matthew is recognised as a prophet. He is particularly interested in how the church worships and in teaching people to understand the word of God. Matthew & Ruth have 4 children.
Apostles & Prophets
 Tony Ling. Tony is an elder-statesman of the kingdom of God. He is received as a prophet by churches around the world, and continues to travel extensively. We are delighted that he calls City Church his home.
 Keri Jones. Keri is an apostle of Jesus Christ and works with churches in many parts of the world. His wisdom and teaching help us build the church according to God’s pattern. He and his wife Carol live in South Wales.
Ministries Without Borders. We work together with a number of wonderful people and churches around the world under the banner of ministries without borders.
